10:08 Home Office
It’s Saturday, so I decided to start on my holiday greetings by RECYCLING! (Such a nerd.) I use the fronts covers that have clean backs, then cut them into postcards. Voila! Saved a tree and still have Christmas cards. Happy Camper.
Finally getting into the holiday spirit, slowly getting out a few reminders of the season today. My mom gave me this nativity set years and years ago. Miss her.
Favorite time of the day: the arrival of The Mail Man! (At least when he’s not delivering bills) A few hours early, to boot. Today, mesa-mesa, just an advertisement for a health club in Manhattan with a card that, embossed, says “Dream Cheer Hope Joy” nice sentiment, I’ll take good wishes.
(Not on a diet, just not very hungry.) Late lunch, just a slice of toast w/honey and …
… and a blended fruit thingy. (Would have been a smoothie, but no ice.) Frozen pineapple and grape juices with cranberry.

13:19 Living Room
Got the Christmas tree up today! I adore this tree, always brings a smile, and she’s so easy to put up! (Yes, Joe Cool has helped me out by posing for a few pics today.

18:45 Kitchen
Time to do the dishes.

20:05 7-11
Salim’s not so interested, but Anish was. I tried to explain the “12 of 12″ thing when I went in to get some tea and bananas, but I think he’s still hoping it goes to the newspapers.

20:45 Royal Chef
Very nice gals at the the Chinese restaurant.

You may no longer be able to get a free cup of coffee in the world today, but now tea on the other hand … (And didn’t I go an leave it there. Must get used to taking the camera around without being distracted by it.)

I love the bright colors.

21:14 Dumpster Area
On my way back, I see the dumpster. There are a LOT of items that get tossed around here! To keep moving expenses down and usually being rushed, stuff goes to the trash instead of Freecycle.
There are a good number of items being put out from people who are upgrading, too. This is a light day.

Being that it is the holidays, I went out to look at the lights tonight, so have a few additional photos:
